We’re starting the new year with a couple of frequently requested features.
Paying customers can now geolocate each step of a form workflow. If you want to make sure that processes are being done on site, this is a nifty little feature.
We’ve also added the ability to access all photos, documents and drawings across all your projects on your mobile device.
Finally, the sorting goodness on table views has been expanded to Documents and Drawings.

We come bearing gifts.
Tables in Forms continues to get better (geekier) with the ability to automatically calculate Sums or Averages of numbers in table columns. You can now use this feature to calculate number of people on site, amount of materials, even tally time worked. The applications are endless.
The map view of projects has also been improved with better clustering for projects that are close to each other.
Finally, you can share a link to any form or task via your preferred app.

We’ve made a few things easier for you in version 2.12.
You can now navigate to the project landing page directly from any form or task that you are on with the Go To Project button.
Inviting users and you find typing in their email address a pain? Now, you can add users from your phone’s contacts.
Sorting is getting better on table views on the web. Just click on a header to get your sort on.
And finally, you can view all photos across all your project on your mobile device.

Are you an Excel geek when it comes to formula(s/ae)? Have you been looking for similar functionality in forms? This week we give you major updates to the Formula field in forms. You can now calculate durations and delays and do all of this along with other arithmetic in a table.
We’ve also enhanced Companies and now you can add more info to a Company’s page. Finally, we’ve rolled out some UI improvements to table views on the web with sorting enabled on multiple columns

People come and go, that’s the reality of life and even more so on jobsites. We’ve made some tweaks to make it easier to handle assigning users to workflows for Forms. Now, every time you make a change to the users assigned to a workflow, you don’t have to create and publish a new version of a form template, just substitute Tom with Dick or Harry and save. That’s it.
Updates to the subscription pages ensure that all charges and updates are clearly communicated on the revamped subscription page.

Tag, you’re it! This isn’t child’s play. We’ve added a new powerful way for you to organize your data. You now have the ability to tag Projects, Forms and Tasks with custom Tags that you can create on the fly with a variety of colours to help you organize your data more effectively. You can even tag a Form Template and have every Form created from the template tagged automatically.
Tags are here to make your life easier. Getting tagged isn’t so bad, after all.

Need to conduct an inspection and use checklists to fill in while inspecting that leaky roof? We’ve got you covered. Create forms that are linked to Tasks. Schedule your inspections using Tasks and link forms to ensure that the inspection is conducted properly.

We’ve also increased accountability by restricting the number of devices that can be simultaneously logged in with one account. Novade Lite was designed to ensure onsite accountability. This is a step towards making that happen.

What do we bring to the table this in version 2.6, you ask? We bring Tables in Forms to you.
Now, repetitive data can be entered via the new table field type and all the data is neatly formatted when exported to PDF.

Even better, if you have numeric values that need to be added, subtracted, divided… you get the idea, you can use the new Formula field which brings Excel like calculations to Forms.

Finally, we’ve cleaned up the UI for Form Workflows and made it nicer to use.

Didn’t we just get an update? Well, the elves in the NL team are in overdrive this summer.
Version 2.3 has some updates for those who like to stay organized. We have a new template filter for forms. People and Companies have distinct sections on the mobile. Deactivated users don’t clutter your view of people anymore, they are filtered out by default, and we’ve made it easier for you to access your profile on mobile; just tap on your profile photo.

Standard doesn’t work for you? Your coffee needs to be made just so? You have a custom bowling ball? Well then NL 2.2 is for you. We have introduced Custom User Roles, so that you can ensure the right person can do the right thing…with their rights.
You can also locate projects on maps, so if you have a whole load of projects navigating to them is easier.
Finally, there are some technical improvements to the way form values are stored so that workspaces with large number of forms perform better.

Are you a taskmaster? Do you excel at it? Well, with the release of Novade Lite 2.1, you can now import and export all your tasks using Excel on the web. Now you can get as granular as you want with your tasks because you don’t have to create them one by one but can import them in one fell swoop.
Quick tip: getting too granular is counterproductive, no one likes being micromanaged.
We’ve also made some improvements to make invoice statuses (why isn’t it stati?) clearer on the subscription page.
